Vintage Hutch

Christine Fitzgerald
by Christine Fitzgerald
My daughter needed more storage for her entertaining dishes. So I picked up this hutch for her.
I painted it with Coastal Colors, shutter, distressed it with a wet wipe, then sealed it with wax. I love how it came out. Now I want one! Visit facebook.com/ChristinesCoastalTreasures for more ideas.

Usually not a fan of painting wood in good shape, but this colour is beautiful and very suited to a young person. Guess distressing is common but, in my opinion only, makes furniture look too shabby for my particular tastes. Hope your daughter appreciates the time it took to turn kind of ugly into great.
