Tween Girl Room Makeover

When we moved to our new house, my daughter wasn't too thrilled with the pale lavender walls. She loves loves bold, bright colors and it just wasn't feeling like home to her.
We worked together to do a complete room makeover that included her choice of paint for the walls in a bold green color. I was honestly a bit wary about how the paint color would work (we used Sherwin Williams Lucky Green) but we're both so happy with how it turned out!
Along with painting the room, we switched out her duvet and pillows and did several DIY projects including making a new upholstered headboard using Target drapes for our fabric,
There are lots of other smaller details that we added too - you can check out the full post with links to all of the DIY tutorials and more pics of the room (including the big smile on my daughter's face the first day she saw it!) here: http://www.drivenbydecor.com/2014/05/one-room-challenge-reveal-tween-bedroom.html

Teri Candeloro on Mar 18, 2015Wow! Just love it all, but think you did an especially nice job combining your patterns and colors of the rosettes! Please tell me where I might find the directions to make them? Your daughter must be thrilled to have her friends over.
