Once they were painted, they looked so amazing! I love it. I spent $1.50 on each can of paint, and spray painted them on a tarp to keep the overspray to a minimum on the driveway. I used about 2 cans of paint per chair. For $3 a chair, they are smooth and pretty and so nicely colorful. You can spend the extra money on a plastic fusion paint, if you are looking for super long term color as well.
I was able to cut out and make 6 pillows in total. And I am storing the extras in this fabulous shabby wicker table that I found at the curb on trash day. It’s a little beat up, and a little paint chipped, but that just made me like it even more. What is is a super handy and lightweight table for our set.

Judy on Jul 22, 2016Just painted two white plastic chairs I've had for years leaf green and daffodil yellow Rust-O-Leum paint o go with a red chair I recently purchased for $24.99. The refurbished chairs look brand new for the cost of $12.00 (4 cans paint for $6.00). Wish I had thought of it before.

Can you please tell me where to get those chair ? I had the exact same ones !mine got broke in a move ,,I am disabled and can only sit in them comfortably !
I too would like to know where you got those pretty chairs? Most of the plastic chairs you see around here are so plain and unattractive where yours don't even look like plastic chairs. Just beautiful! If you want your cute wicker table to hold up very long you might want to rethink leaving it as is and paint it as well and don't forget to also paint the underside including the bottom of the legs as well to keep moisture from wicking up into the rattan causing it to mildew and rot! Love the red color you chose to paint your chairs with too and the pillows you made! Great job! Thanks for sharing!
