Paint Your Dates

It's important to remember the big , life changing dates in your life. Why not show them off as a constant reminder of the big blessings in your life?
I gave this date board to my husband for Father's Day!
I started with a reclaimed wood board made from old fence pickets.
I used my Cricut to cut out letters, but you could print from your computer and cut out or use stencils.
After carefully laying out my letters, I traced each one with pencil.
Next, I hand painted each letter with Creamcoat Acrylic paint from the craft store. I find a small, stiff brush to be easier to control in small spaces such as these letters.
After distressing the lettering with sandpaper my weather date board was ready! Here it is...
