Master Bath Reveal

When we remodeled our house, one of the first things I told the architect was that I needed a master bathroom I could escape in. As any crazy busy working mom will agree that you have to have a place to escape all of the madness. For me that is the master bathroom.
We live on a hill so even through we are close to a highway (and a major city) you can't tell when you are in the bath. It's very peaceful. I wanted a lot of windows and you can see how they came out.
The shower is enormous - probably bigger than it needed to be but we love it. The tile is all marble which I thought would be really expensive but was reasonable actually.
This basket weave tile gives the shower nice detail. I love the dark grey squares!
I got a GREAT deal on this Pottery Barn vanity. It was a floor model and they sold it for a steal. Unfortunately, the top arrive cracked and had to be replaced. But we like this top even better.
This is my favorite part of the bathroom. i got this on Overstock.com and it too was inexpensive but it looks so high end. And it's on a dimmer…so it adds to the peacefulness of the space.
