Hey all, have any of you ever come across a product online that you love, and then wonder if you could make it yourself? Well, that's what we did! We saw this phone/key holder online, and decided to give it a go.

We started off with just a piece of beautiful pecan wood. You'll want to use a slab that is smooth and flat.

We then created a notch that an iPhone can sit on securely. We then glued it on the slab.

We then measured the holes on my G shock watch for the spacing that we'd need. We then cut it roughly to the dimensions we wanted.

We gave the slab a nice little stand so it can stand on it's own.

The last piece we added in was a knob for our keys rings.

We lastly oiled everything with odies oil to make the color of the wood really pop. We also use walrus oil from time to time.

We are very happy with how it came out, and hey, we made it ourselves! Would you give something like this a try yourself?
