How to remove Markers from marble. Wipe all stains with a damp sponge. If any stain remains, apply Soft Scrub with a damp sponge, work in a circular motion and rinse. If the stain persists, saturate a cotton ball with nail polish remover, blot the remaining stain and rinse.
Have you tried a Magic Eraser?
Hello is your marble sealed?
Have you tried using barkeepers friend and sponge or a magic eraser? You might need a cleanser with an oxiblach as another alternative.
I find bar keepers friend to be quite an extraordinary cleanser to have on hand for multiple surfaces.
here’s a link that might be helpful.

try a magic eraser. Then reseal the marble
I used the mix of baking soda with peroxide, made a paste left it overnight with plastic over it, next a.m. washed it off and it was gone. I have quarts counters white.
I would not use anything abrasive. Try Awesome from dollar store. If that does not work, rubbing alcohol.
Hi! I am assuming you already tried your marble cleaner. I recently had a mark that was yellow and I had no idea what is was. I made a baking soda and water paste I applied. It took three applications before it lifted out. Depending on what type of marker it is, go to the manufacturer's website and find out what solvent works to remove it. I would dab it only on the mark, blotting it as I loosened it. You could also check with a local stone shop asking how they could remove it without damaging the stone. Good luck and stay safe!

Hello, Angie6s, hope this helps you out,

Do not use a Magic eraser, you will ruin your counter. Bleach, ammonia, hydrogen peroxide, and vinegar are cheap, will "clean" marble, and often are an excellent choice for other types of household cleaning... but all are too harsh (acidic or caustic) for use on marble and will definitely damage the marble countertop or floor finish.
You could try some nail polish remover on a piece of cotton.
So, the cheapest is hot water, which you'll use all the time but only with much effort to achieve a spotless, streak-free shine.
The next would be dish soap or a homemade marble cleaner mix of soap and alcohol. Again, both will work, but eventually, you'll have a dull and dingy surface from soap scum. So then you just clean with alcohol and water to bring back the shine
Hello there,
Use Surgical Spirit! I've used it many times on many things to remove Permanent Markers........Hope it works for you.
