Our very own Teri Ronk redid her laundry room and decided to "rust" the pulls on the overhang cabinets. Teri of course used Dixie Belle Paint Patina Effects to achieve this look! Teri did an awesome job Love, love, love the outcome!
First, Teri thoroughly cleaned the pulls with Dixie Belle Paints White Lightning and washed away all residue. Teri then applied "PrimeStart"
Prime Start prevents rusting throughout your metal creations when you use Dixie Belle's Patina Paints and Patina Sprays and is not necessary on non-metal pieces.
Then apply one coat of Iron Patina Paint, let fully dry. Apply a second coat of Iron Patina Paint and while still wet spray a misting of the Green Patina Spray. This allows the chemical reaction with the metal to occur.
Sit back and watch the magic! It can take 2-6 hours to reach full effect!
Wow! The finished product looks like it went through the natural aging process in just a couple of hours! Amazing
