An easy and cute diy pillow from bar towels found at the Target dollar spot.

I found a pack of two coordinating bar towels at the Target Dollar tree for $3.00. They were perfect for a diy Halloween pillow!

You will need a needle and thread, 1 yard of coordinating ribbon and a 18" x 18" pillow insert.

With the two right sides facing each other, begin to sew the two towels together using a simple whip stitch.

I went all around but left the top open.

At the top, I stitched two 9" pieces of ribbon to each side directly across from one another so that I can tie the pillow closed.

Turn the pillow cover right side out.

Back side.

Add a 18" x 18" pillow insert and tie closed! I love the way it turned out!

Very nice pillow! Was this from Target AND Dollar Tree? Or an actual store named Target Dollar Tree?

Clever! I've used cloth napkins & just hand stitched onto a pillow.

Also a great idea! Pillows don't have to be expensive!
