So it was world book day on Thursday and my daughter decided on Wednesday morning that she no longer wanted to dress in the costume we had planned (the bunny from Alice in wonderland) So as u can imagine, it was a very last minute shock and I didn’t know what to do. Miss Trunchbull had originally been an option but, of course, she didn’t pick that. But now, suddenly, it was an option. So off to work I went planning on my head what I could do when I went home. I went to my local drug store and bought black hair spray (as my daughter has blonde hair) and that was the only thing I purchased

Everything shown in this photo is all that you need. (Except for the laptop/computer and some paper/card)

This was the look we were going for

I started off by making my template on the laptop for the wording on the jumper. I used the font JerseyM54, which you can download for free. I printed it out and the cut around each letter

I then placed each cut out in position on an old grey sweater that I had

I then used a pencil and went around each one to make the outline of the wording

I then used a washable black marker to colour in each letter. You could just use a black marker/sharpie too, but I used this incase I made a mistake and wanted to wash it (or wear my jumper again! Though, I haven’t washed it yet so I’m not 100% it will wash out completely or not)

This was the finished jumper once it was all coloured in. And I think it turned out pretty well

This was the hair spray I bought. This is a wash out so I sprayed her knowing it would come out in the shower

I’m not the best at doing messy buns so I find this little foam bun maker really handy! It makes a messy bun easier than using a donut.

she wore the jumper with a black belt of mine tied around her waist, black leggings, grey socks over the top and then her boots. We then added some dark brows (using my Mac eyebrow pot)

We also got a white hand towel which I rolled up and out around her neck and tucked into the jumper. I think she looked pretty good for a quick costume and it only cost me £2 for the hairspray as I had everything else! Bargain. I have listed below everything I used but, like I said, I already had everything else in the house.
