Today I'm showing you How To Make A DIY Wood Bead Christmas Stocking Tag. These can also be used as a keychain by adding a key ring to the end.

Supplies

First, start by stringing 8 beads onto a piece of twine. Tie a large knot on each end. Make up a separate twine tassel to add to one end.

The wood slices that I picked up at the craft store didn’t have a nail hole, so I added one. These are thick, so I would recommend buying the ones with a hole. The link I shared are for pre-drilled tags. Trust me, it makes it easier.

Next, you can personalize the wood slice either with a letter, or their name. Of course, I used my favorite Chalk Couture to add a large monogram letter. You can check out  Chalk Couture here. Another way to personalize them would be with a Sharpie Paint Pen.

Finally, add twine to tie the tag to the wood bead string. Just use a safety pin to attach it to the stocking. I’m in love with the knit stocking that I found at Target. Isn’t the little tag just adorable? I definitely want to make one for myself to use as a key chain. These would make great gifts too.
