Mother's Day or Teacher Appreciation Garden Gift Basket

Make this floral garden gift basket for Mother's Day or Teacher Appreciation Week using items found at the dollar store! And I've even included an easy origami cash flower tutorial for adding to the Teacher Appreciation version of the gift.
It all starts with inexpensive artificial flowers and a pot from the dollar store.
I attached all of the flowers to the pot with just a glue gun. Easy peasy.
Washi tape is the secret to making these easy origami flowers that look cute, and don't get ruined in the process. (That would make the gift pretty useless!)
I also found flower seed packets at the dollar store (4 for a dollar) and glued those to skewers for the bouquet as well.
Even the styrofoam on the inside of the pot used to hold everything in place came from the dollar store! It's an inexpensive gift, but it's fun and thoughtful.
Here's a quick video version of the tutorial.

I would love to know about the mushrooms you used! What are they made of and where did you get them?
