Mummy Candy Bars

Kids love candy for Halloween. And you can definitely go to the store, buy a bag of chocolate, and open it up on Halloween. Then, when the trick or treaters come to your door, you can hand them a piece out of the bag. They'll be very happy, especially if it's a full size candy bar like the ones in this project.

But, if you want to give something a little more special to the trick or treaters that come to your home or maybe just your own kids, these Mummy Candy Bars are the way to go.

This project uses Hershey's chocolate bars to make them because they're flat and easy to work with, but you could use your favorite chocolate bars instead.

Start with a white streamer. Cut a long piece of it off the roll.

Fold it in half and tape it to the back of the candy bar.

Wrap it around the candy bar in two layers until the majority of the candy bar is covered up.

You can leave some of it showing to make it look interesting, so don't worry too much about covering every single spot.

Cut out eyes from white and black cardstock.

Glue them on to the front of the candy bar.

That's it!
