If you're looking for a fun and simple crafts for grandparent's teachers etc then this is the perfect one for you! This adorable gumball machine ornament will be fun for years to come.

First gather your supplies! A hot glue gun, paint brushes, 1 red and black paint, mini pots, sprinkles, and make your own ornament clear ornaments.

I started off with a really vibrant Apple barrel flag red paint.

I painted the entire pot and let it dry.

Then you're going to prepare your do-it-yourself ornament and small circle sprinkles. I picked the rainbow color because it reminded me most of gumballs.

Pop the top of the ornament.

Port in your sprinkles AKA teeny tiny gumballs 😉 close up the top and you're on to the next step.

Take your hot glue gun and put a generous blob of glue and attach the ornament to the top.

Make sure when you're attaching to push it down for a few seconds to make sure it adheres.

your next step is to take your soda can top or pop as my husband from Michigan calls it and put hot glue on it and attach it to the pot in the front.

next you're going to take black paint and a small tip paint brush and put a dab of paint in the middle of the soda can as pictured below.

After everything is dry and complete you have an absolutely adorable mini gumball machine. My daughter is making a bunch for teacher gifts and grandparent Christmas gifts!

Super quick super easy and super adorable!

I’m wondering how heavy these are. Won’t they off the tree OR the top come out of the ornament cause it’s to heavy?

Aren’t these too heavy to hang on tree?
