Mason jars can be used in all kinds of situations (other than canning!). They are both elegant and practical. But what can we do with the lids?
Cutting the fabric
Upload the free SVG template from NeliDesign’s library to Cricut Design Space and cut the circle with the rotary blade.
Cutting the Iron-on vinyl
Take a piece of Iron-on vinyl or HTV and place it face down on your mat.
Weeding
Cut a word of your choice (I chose Noel) and weed the letters.
Applying the letters with the Easy Press
Apply the letter to the fabric circle.
Then press with a Cricut Easy Press or other press.
Glue fabric to lids
Use a spray adhesive to apply the fabric to the lids. You'll need to add fabric also to the back of the lids.
Assembling the lids
Make holes on each side of the lids. Insert the jute twine and make knots on each side of each lid as you go. Finish with a loop.
