How to Make Brown Paper Bag Festive Snowflake
This year I decided to go with festive Christmas decor.. decided to decorate my whole house with stars. I called them my wishing stars. I have made so many already that you can check some of them HERE on my blog or on my Facebook page. Have to admit I have a small obsession with them. I just like to share some of them with you just for inspiration
I learned from my Mom art of Star making when I was a small child. They vary so much ...from super delicate looking
Through those modern honeycomb like looking
Today I like to share with you super simple star made out of brown lunch paper bags, You may even made one but it is always good to refresh technique or learn something new
Directions are super easy ... Start with 15 brown lunch bags and glue them together on one side. You can use Elmers glue but Hot glue gun works for me perfectly
When you complete that step it is time to add some design to those lunch bags. I like to cut leaf like shape at the open side of lunch bag
Just because I love metal I like to cut out sides too on both ends
When all is cut you need to gently open your creation.and form into a circle
hot glue ends together and you are done
you will be thinking that will be enough for me .... but I still like to add some details that can be changed based on the holiday or occasion . Those stars make awesome easy to make and super festive decorations. Just because I am in need of some Christmas decor I decided to Dollar Tree paper doilies do the center
Little bit of metallic spray paint in my case added soo much character but I wanted to go even further and decided to glue mini sparky ornaments to every other arm of my snowflake
it really does change it all completely ... it looks super high end
and you are done !!! Is it this star awesome !!! it completly doesn't show it that it is made out of such a simple material like paper lunch bags

When you say lunch bag size we are in uk and we don’t use lunch bag s that’s why I’m asking what size bags you use can you not measure the ones you have and what size did you use for the white snow flake

When you say glue the bags together, where on the bag do you glue them? Down the center, all over? You love the project!!
