Hurricanes and Earthquakes and Tornadoes OH MY!!!

I wanted to share a bit about myself- in relation to the hurricanes and storms in the world right now.
When I was a young girl, I lost my mom and brother in a tornado Friday May 31, 1985 in Barrie Ontario, Canada. There were also many tornadoes (13 I believe) that touched in the US that day.
We lost our home, neighborhood, 3 neighbors including my best friend. God spared my life, as our home was hit in the worst area of the F4 storm. I suffered a broken jaw, fractured skull and punctured lung, remained on life support and woke from a coma 2 weeks later on my 9 birthday to find this news.

I want to inspire people to live their best lives because you never know when something crazy and unexpected can happen. I know I was spared my life to encourage those going through loss, grief, devastation, depression, fear, you name it! I can relate! I just want to encourage and spread love to those that although it may be hard, there is always HOPE!

As I DIYer, I have taken my life experience and learned you can always make something beautiful out of something broken. Beauty for the Ashes.

Here are a few of my projects. I am so inspired and excited to show people that they can accomplish anything they put their minds to. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Sending my best and thank you for allowing me to share!

Here is an old lantern I painted to create vintage fall decor.
Here is a bottle of Rose water I made using roses from my garden. Once
their life is over, they can remade into this wonderful water! It is becoming hot trend to use all natural products in your beauty regimen.
Here is a water feature I made this summer using a pond pump and 2 pails!
Here is some Rosehip Oil I made from wild roses I picked in Northern Cottage Country. An all natural Infused oil which was made from at the end of the Rose growing season. This can be used in your beauty care.
