Hi everyone! I hope that you are doing well. Lately, I've been creating more crafts for Spring time. This craft is pretty simple and takes just a few materials. Today we're creating a Spring canvas frame art display. This craft uses one canvas from Dollar Tree, and we will actually take the canvas off, and we will only be working with the frame.

If you're ready to start creating, grab your materials, and we will begin creating.

Material list

One package of jumbo craft sticks/ or regular craft sticks depending on the size of your canvas-Purchased at Hobby Lobby

One Canvas- Purchased at the Dollar Tree

Bumble bee buttons (optional) Purchased at Hobby Lobby

Paint- Espresso color and Celery (you can go with any colors you have on hand)

Pack of craft flowers

Scissors

Hot glue, or any other adhesive

Total cost around $13

Start by removing the canvas. Take your scissors, and begin to cut your canvas and remove it from the canvas frame. For this craft, we will only need to use the wood frame. You should be left with just the wood frame when this step is complete.

Next, take your paint, and begin to paint the frame. I needed around two coats of paint. Allow your paint to fully dry.

Once the paint is dry, you can now flip over your frame. Take some of your craft sticks, apply some hot glue on the ends of each stick, and gently press them down on the back of the frame.

Repeat this step until you get to the very bottom of your frame.

Now that all the craft sticks are glued onto the back side of the frame, you can now flip it back over so that it is facing the front side.

Take your paint and apply it to your craft sticks. For the craft sticks, I am using a color called celery. You will need about two coats of paint to give it complete coverage.

Allow everything to completely dry.

Next, take your craft flowers, and apply them to your craft sticks. You will need a small amount of hot glue to apply your floral pieces.

The last step is optional. If you have any bumblebee buttons, or any other details you would like to add to your frame display, do so now.

I decided to add on some bumblebee buttons I picked up from my local Hobby Lobby store. Just add a little hot glue on the back side of each button and place them around your flowers.

Your canvas art is now complete! This looks beautiful displayed on a shelf. I'd love to hear from you if you decide to create your very own canvas art display!
