Spring Wreath With Ribbon and Dollar Store Flowers

3 Materials
This wreath is oh so easy to make, and not very expensive either!

I wanted to update this wreath that I made last year. (I actually made two of them to hang outside.) I knew I wanted a brighter base this time, to make my wreaths a little more happy!

I stripped off the flowers and plastic. Kept the flowers, garbaged the plastic.

To make this wreath I used a straw base, ribbon and dollar store flowers.

I used to make hair accessories with these flowers, this was a good way to use up my inventory, that I don't use anymore.

I used U pins to attach the ribbon to the straw. It was as easy as wrapping the ribbon around the wreath over and again!

I used two 3 yard spools for the whole wreath, the left over ribbon is used for hanging the wreath.

You can use the U pins to attach the flowers too. Just take off the stem, cut down the green, if needed and stick the pin between the petals and center.

Simply push the flower into the straw.

For tips on how I arranged my flowers visit my blog! There are more photos there as well! This is a great weekend to make a spring wreath!

So not sure what your old wreaths looked like except from the photo you referred to. So would that mean you had it wrapped in some kind of tissue paper before your fantastic New wreaths Were made? Thanks in advance and thank you for posting. Very cheery!
