Use inexpensive Dollar Store items to make this gorgeous Valentine’s Day wreath for your front door. Though it looks fancy and complicated to make, this stunning wreath is actually quite easy to do today!

You can also watch my video on my Youtube channel. I'd love if you subscribed!!!

I bought most of my supplies at the Dollar Tree. A few I had at home anyway, and you might, too. You can find similar supplies at Hobby Lobby or any other craft store if your Dollar Tree doesn’t have these items.

Check out my easy Valentine’s Day candle made from Dollar Tree items, too.

Supplies

(I ended up not using the white tulle or some of the flowers shown in photo.)

  • 10 inch Floral foam wreath
  • Twine
  • Wooden beads
  • Metal word “Valentine”
  • Scissors
  • Paint Brushes
  • Hot glue gun and hot glue
  • Pink faux flowers
  • White beaded ribbon (Pearl Wrap) from Dollar Tree
  • White sheer ribbon, 5/8” wide
  • Paint (chalk or acrylic): white, pink, green/gray
  • Scrap Fabric (I used a sweater sleeve from the thrift store)

Directions

Step 1

Paint your beads first. I used paper towel cardboard tubes and wooden skewers to easily paint my wooden paints all at once.

Thread the beads onto the skewers and then poke the ends of the skewers into the cardboard tubes. This will hold the beads steady while you paint all around the bead. Let dry.

I painted mostly pink and white with a few of the green/gray to sprinkle in.

Step 2

Cut a sweater sleeve down the seam.

Wrap the fabric around the wreath form and trim the excess off that is not needed to cover the form. Hot glue the fabric onto the wreath.

Step 3

Wrap the Dollar Tree white beaded ribbon around the bottom half of the wreath and hot glue into place.

Step 4

Take the faux flowers off of their stems. Hot glue along the top half of the wreath.

Step 5

Remove the painted beads from the skewers. Thread them onto the twine, alternating white and pink and inserting a green or gray bead here and there.

Hot glue the bead string along the bottom half of the wreath, laying on top of the white pearl ribbon.

Step 6

Center and hot glue the word “Valentine” to the wreath.

Step 7

Make a bow with ribbon. Hot glue the bow to the wreath along on the side near the word “Valentine”.
