Making the door look like it is part of the wall would be key. Put a piece of furniture at the edge of the door would help to disguise it. Of course, there is always the bookcase trick.
I always think about it being behind a bookshelf. I bet Cheryl's video above would be really helpful! Now it makes it so I want a secret room!!! :)

Hello. I think one solution might be purchasing a bookcase door. I think it would be a fabulous visual as well as functional door. It appears that they are sometimes called a Murphy door.
