Less is More

Purchased some stars at a tag sale (7 for $2.00), painted one pink, the other two were already silver so I use spray adhesive and glittered them up and sealed it with mod podge. Added the fake candles, silver ball garland, pink lights ( I had these from previous years) and two set of bead garland that I pick up at the Christmas Tree store for $2.99 each. How easy was that!!!
At night when the lights go on, I have it set on a timer so it goes on and off on its own.
I didn't like the lanterns there so I made my snowman out of a milk jug.
My cute snowman. I used furniture felt for the buttons and eyes, the face is actually that of a rabbit, one of my Easter decoration, put a hat on it to cover the rabbit's ears, placed the face on top of a disposable plate I used double sided tape to attach to the plate and wrapped a scarf to cover the plate. This milk container actually had writing on it so I covered it with plain white paper.

Very vintage, shabby chic and luvvvvhhhh this! I'm digging the pink, shimmers and iridescence this year! Don't have a mantle which is really bizarre since our home was built in 1880... ya think we'd have one... might just have to build one to emulate your stunning mantlescape! Love the less is more because that pink really comes thru! Great job!
