Christmas is literally right around the corner and to help you get ready, we’ve prepared these advent calendar activities. At Ever Change Productions, we try to live a life of simplicity. This enables us to live a less stressful life and produce good things in the world rather than being consumed by all the stuff during the holidays. These advent calendar ideas reflect our joy of helping our fellow humans, and the Earth along the way. Join us with these eco-friendly advent calendar activities and give back.

Gather your supplies
  • 25 Toilet paper rolls
  • Scissors
  • Decorations - ribbons, etc.
  • Hot glue gun and glue
  • Eco-Friendly Advent Calendar Activities and Labels
  • Paper Clips

I estimated $20 for supplies, but most of this stuff is common craft supplies you should already have around your house.
Cut out the labels and separate each activity to go into the individual tubes.
Glue down the top of the toilet paper roll, put in one of the activity papers then glue down the bottom of the paper roll.
Once you fill the toilet paper tubes with the activities, decorate them as you wish. I wanted mine to look like little packages, so for each of mine, I put a bow with ribbon or plarn.
Once you have all your calendar items decorated, you can hang them up for display.

For my display, I screwed 6 stick onto a longer stick to make a tree. Then I strung yarn from one end of the stick to the other to give something for the toilet paper tubes to hang onto.
And there you have it! A cute advent calendar of eco-friendly activities leading up to Christmas!
Christmas is literally right around the corner and to help you get ready, we’ve prepared these advent calendar activities.
