How to Make 3D Paper Star
Learn how to make 3-D paper stars. Love making them ! Check some others HERE . The one I like to share is super easy .A few folds, a snip here, another fold there and voila! you have a star, perfect for decorating your space. It looks complicated, but believe me, it’s really easy. Anyone can make them! Are you ready to have fun with me? They are not only perfect for Christmas decor! This paper star is perfect Christmas tree ornaments. They also make perfect patriotic stars just by using red ,white and blue. Perfect way spruce up your 4th of July decor.
Making the star
Start by cutting your paper into a square shape.
–
–
- Fold your square in half. With the fold edge along the bottom.
Fold the bottom right hand corner over to meet the left top corner
Fold the bottom left hand corner over into the middle.
Turn your paper over. Your paper star will look for a bit like a kite.
Fold your kite in half by taking the left hand side over to meet the right hand side.
Cut in a diagonal line from right to left through the center of your your folds. The bigger the angle the sharper the star will be
and we are done with cutting … now it is time to shape it
What I like to do is to follow fold at the peaks of my star. Your goal is to make them crisp
you lift up peaks and depress connections
I had so much fun that decided to create double side one by simply fitting one into another. You can leave simple like that or simply brush some paint on the edges and add your embellishments
Here is a video on how I made that
Add a little ribbon as your hanging piece
Love pearls on my 3D star. They are super easy to add on with hot glue
Just to keep it all rustic I decided to add some of a paint
Must check those easy ornaments HERE
Decoupage your star with those gorgeous napkins from my store HERE

Beautiful!! You are so talented and creative! I love the "pearl" and gold embelishments on the stars. And the small ornament, too. The decoupage with the cards - what a wonderful way to keep a cherished card, or even help make your whole Christmas theme!! Love these ideas! Thanks for sharing!
