How to Make Ice Luminaries.

When I woke up this morning it was 22 below zero. Yes that's right. Although this weather is not good for much, it is perfect for making ice luminaries.
So if you live somewhere with a cold winter climate. Or even if you have temps below freezing for a few days, why not give them a try!
I will set them out for New Years Eve to welcome our guests. With lit candles they are just so pretty!
Ice luminaries are perfect during the cold winter months.
Use a square ice creme bucket and a 1 qt. container filled with something to weight it down.
Slice up some limes or maybe some lemons.
Fill with water, cranberries, limes, evergreens and...
You get this! Simple and easy and so pretty lit up at night.
