These Paper Christmas Trees are so easy and best of all, there's no real involved instructions to make them. Other than gathering some basic materials, the color, pattern, shapes and embellishments are all up to you. You can actually wing it as you go along! Use 4 different papers, or one paper. Be as creative as you like, or make them very subtle.
Basic supplies are styrofoam cones, Christmas scrapbook paper, a couple of interesting bases for your trees and a mini dollar store tree topper.
I show 4 different papers here, but I ended up using 5. At most you'll use half a sheet of each.
The paper can be cut in any shape. Make some round, square or fringed. You'll need straight pins and hot glue for the project. Check the blog post on Recaptured Charm for more detailed instruction on how to pin the paper and glue it to the styrofoam.
Add some dollar store embellishments to add a little sparkle and don't forget the little tree topper. You certainly don't have to use star.
I put these trees in about 3 different places in the house and they were just as cute in any space. They even looked great on the kitchen island.
Surround your trees with some pine cones, tree branches and fluffy fake snow.
