Wintry Sparkle Wonderland
I usually hate taking down the Christmas tree and decor. It’s just so cheery and pretty during the dreary days of winter. And it takes so long to put it all up and take it all down Again. So I like to leave some wintry decor up until the end of January or so.
When decorating, remembe, odd numbers look better to the eye. On top of my refrigerator, I started with silver & turquoise glittery, sequined trees. The silver tree is set farther back, almost creating an open triangle of the 3.
In between but in front of trees, I placed a jar with miniature turquoise & silver ornaments. Then placed a bigger ornament with snowflakes, on the top of the jar.
In between, in Little in front of turquoise trees, on the other side, I placed a snowman candle jar (a small jar candle is inside). So now you have a back row and a middle row.
Snowball candles from Partylite (years ago), I placed in front of the jar & snowman.
Then I placed silver/gold mercury glass votives in the row with the Snowball candles, every other one. Makes 7 items in that row. And 5 with the trees in the back rows. Technically that’s 12 items but placed in odd numbered groupings. I feel like this color palette says winter.
So I keep this little wonderland on top of my frig during & after Christmas. A little bit of glittery cheer that can be seen in the kitchen & living room.
I also have this white, silver & gold grouping I may keep up for awhile too.
I hope you have fun making your own little wonderland using these colors & glittery, sparkling decor!!
