Yarn and Paper Holly Garland

Today I am sharing a tutorial for a holiday garland made from yarn and paper.
This holiday craft is a quick decoration that you and your kids can enjoy making together. We used regular red and green craft yarn to make a garland and pom-pom berries. Holly leaves are made with construction paper. You can make this fun garland in less than an hour.
Hang it on your mantle, around your door frame or anywhere that could use a little festive flair.
Start by crocheting a long chain out of the green yarn. If you don't know how to crochet you can braid three strands of yarn for a similar look.
Make pom poms out of the red yarn. Wrap the yarn around two of your fingers until it is nice and fat. Slip it off your fingers and tie another piece of string around the middle. Cut the loops of the yarn and trim the pom pom to help shape it into a sphere.
Cut pieces of green construction paper into holly leaf shapes. Fold them in half to make them three dimensional.
Tape or glue the pom poms to the leaves and the leaves to the yarn chain. Group them together in numbers of two or three.
Hang your garland.
