Easy
Inexpensive project for fall.
(simple and fun kids project)
I used a empty gallon milk jug, that I rinsed and filled with water to weigh it down. I knew I was putting it outside so I didn't want it to blow away. :0)
Then I got a piece of scrap fabric.. just a random light color and placed it around the jug and gathered it at the top, and tied it as tight as I could get it around the top of the jug to hold in place.
Then I tied a bow with twine and added a couple leaves from a floral stem. I just had them tucked under the twine securely, with leaves peeking out both sides of the twine. However, they could be glued on as well.
Then I got out some acrylic craft paint and just brushed it on.
I wasn't going for perfection or a uniform look here.
Then I placed it outdoors.

I had everything for this 'faux pumpkin' on hand so it didn't cost me anything to make.
