Hi! I'm excited about my idea to transform unsightly, tiny remnants of my other projects into a wonderful work of art itself. No need to be an artist though :) I'll show you what I mean, just check out the before picture first :)

I'ts an affordable way to turn scraps of fabric into lovely home decor, or DIY gifts for your friends.
Random scraps of my fabric I had no use for.
Tons of tiny scraps. Nothing beautiful to see. Yet.
This image shows stitching the individual pieces together, cutting and rearranging. Better looking already, right?
You may never see this again, but yes, I decided to cut up this piece of patchwork to make the beautiful part stand out. Personal preferences :)

The more usual way to frame a patchwork would be finding a frame big enough to have the entire piece intact. And this is what an avid quilter would probably do. A lovely, finished quilting block should never need to be cut.
Place your cutout into a frame. Attach the frame backing. My frame had tiny brads to hold it in place. I gave them a firm press against the surface using a screwdriver. Various types of frames have different framing hardware - I love turn buttons, they are the easiest to use!
Ridiculously easy home decor out of scraps.
It's an easy DIY for sewing enthusiasts, helping you decorate your home like a pro!

This is an idea that you could use with bits of fabric from well-loved particular garments, clothing worn at special occasions, favourite childrens clothing that they have grown out of, former years Christmas pyjamas, graduation dresses, and so on........
