DIY Etched Glass Candle Holders

If you need a quick, easy and FUN DIY gift idea for this holiday season, you'll definitely want to whip up some of these DIY etched glass candle holders. They're a great gift that can be used in many ways!
Purchase inexpensive square glass vases and wipe them with rubbing alcohol.
Add a stencil that has been made with an electronic cutting machine, or use a stencil that's specifically made for glass etching. (Yes, they make those! You can find a link to many options on my blog.) I used a monogram in this example.
Apply glass etching cream according to the package directions.
Wait with anticipation to remove the cream. Pop a votive candle in there and enjoy!

Is there a way to add color/paint just the part you etched? If so. is it washable if I put in on a wine glass?
