DIY Pineapple Night Light

Looking for a fun way to light up your summer nights? I have the perfect craft for you and it's easy enough that you can get the kids involved. My daughter and niece both have one of these in their rooms and they love them. You can use them as home décor on a book shelf, in a kids room or as centerpieces for a party/BBQ!

I started with one of these drink containers. Make sure your container is clean and dry.

Start cutting felt. You'll need different lengths for the crown and lots of circles for the pineapple.

Using your hot glue gun, start gluing the crown pieces to the top of the container. Start with the larger pieces and work your way out to the smaller pieces.

When the crown is done, start gluing on the circles. Start at the bottom and work your way up.

Here is my finished pineapple. It's adorable as-is, but I decided it needed some more color.

Make sure you don't glue the lid to the container when you add the circles because you'll need the lid to easily go on and off.

Add fairy lights or a battery operated candle to the inside.

Now you have your very own pineapple night light.
