Here's a litlle spring decor. A very easy way to make your own topiary 🙂 Lets go!!!

Here is what you need.

1.Some faux greenery

2.Moss

3. Flower pot

4. Acrylic paint (optional)

5. Foam block

5.Paint brush

6. Duct tape

7. Hot glue gun

8. Wooden chopsticks

9.Crafts wire

I started with painting the pot. I used white acrylic paint, and painted just one coat on. Didn't bother painting it more, cause I wanted it to look old and worn. When dry, I did some drybrushing with brown paint. And the pot was done. Now, if you like the look of your pot, you will skip this part. 🙂

Than you take your greenery ( I used 3 branches). I joined them together, one slightly under the other and wraped them around with some wire.

Here are all 3 joined together. Then I used some hot glue to stick them together and have a really firm stick.

For extra lenght I glued on some wooden chopsticks, so my tree could be taller.

Then I taped around to hide the sticks, and get a nicer look. Since my tape is this light color, I painted it brown cause I wanted it to be realistic. Now if your tape is dark, of course you won't paint it.

Now place your foam block in the pot and stick your tree in the foam.

Put some moss in the pot, over the foam, and glue some onto the tree to have that nice, textured look.

And the final touch would be giving your tree a " hair cut " 🙂 If you don't like the shape of your tree, you can cut off some pieces and get a nicer shape.

And voila 😃😃 I think it looks really cute 😃
