It is so fun to create a countdown board that you can use for any event-from holidays to birthdays and even to that big movie release. Yeah, you know who you are. With this project, you get to customize your countdown board to your own style and taste.

You'll want to start with choosing the width of board you want and then cutting your boards to length. A good sanding is necessary to remove rough spots and obtain a nice finished product.
We provide 3 options for the design of your board. One is to stain the wood. You could also paint the wood with your choice of color to match seasonal or home decor. Some people love to use a color wash technique.
