Gaudy Gold Candleholder Saved From The Garbage
I'm not sure if I could fit the entire pic in so I cropped it. This candleholder has some beautiful detail but the color just didn't go.
So after a coat of paint I got busy with my decoupage.
I cut out these birds from napkins and very carefully applied them.
I love how the napkins curve around the grooves almost looks painted.
I hope you can see the little bird on top.
