Scrap Wood Mexican Folk Art

2 Materials
Turn scrap wood and bottle caps into colorful folk art with printed images from the internet.
I used discarded scrap wood and bottle caps to create these fun crosses. There are tons of images to choose from on the internet if you search for bottle cap art.
Watch how easy they are to put together here!
A few things I used. For dimension I used the Allure Dimensional Design Adhesive paints. The best "puff" paint on the market, I'd say. I filled them with Liquid Glass which is a terrific, clear sealant.

Where did you find the Frida Kahlo artwork? I'm also looking for Dia de los Muertos.

What are the size dimensions of 1 printed photo you used?

To be specific I don't need the entire sheet, just if I were to select the `star` image for example.. what size did you crop that image to in your digital art program?

I'm assuming all bottle-caps are roughly the same size.

Is that what template you used?

I'm making a family tree for my Grandparent's wedding anniversary and haven't been able to decide how to do the pictures of everyone yet. It's a Mexican theme and I love the idea of adding a small photo to the bottle caps... you have me thinking and have inspired me - thank you!
