Hello All,

I do hope you are well. These are such strange times right now. It feels like the whole world has fallen down the rabbit hole. Are you out of work right now? So many of us are. It is a bit unnerving all this uncertainty and extra time to fill. If you are like me you may be checking news reports too often, counting and rationing your squares of toilet paper or binge-watching funny cat videos.

I don't know about you but I am coping with all of this craziness by gluing and painting and cutting things.

I have been working on giving my craft room a make over for several months now and I am almost done. I just need to add a few finishing touches. In what else but an Alice-in-Wonderland theme.

This first project was duper simple.

I found this giant wooden key.

I used gold spray paint to cover the key.

Then I added an antique effect by brushing on some black paint and dabbing it off with a paper towel.

The last step was to add some gold dimensional paint around the edges.

You can find more details for this project in the attached video.

Thanks for taking a look at my project.

Also, if you would like to see the whole room makeover check out the video below.

Happy Upcycling,

Cindy
