As a YouTuber, I'm always looking for new things to inspire me for video ideas. Pinterest is a tool I'm constantly using for this. With summer now here, I needed to spice up my room a little and add some colour. I went to Pinterest and found 3 easy DIYs that helped give my room a more summery vibe. If you want a better idea of how to make these and how everything turned out, check out my YouTube video and subscribe if you like it!

Sunflower Garland
supplies:
-fake flowers
-string
-hot glue

1. Start by removing your fake flowers from the stems and measuring how long you want your strands to be
2. Lay your flowers on the string before gluing to make sure there exactly where you want them them glue them down with hot glue
3. Attach your strands to the wall using tape

You can make as many strands of these as you would like and use as many flowers as you want! Super easy and very appropriate for summer!

Wooden Sign
Supplies:
-piece of wood
-paint
-tape

1. Pick your design/ phrase and tape around the edges of you piece of wood to make sure you have clean lines when painting
2. Paint directly on the wood whatever kind of design you would like and with whatever colours. I went with "good vibes" because it reminded me of summer.
3. Let it dry and set it up for display! You could attach command stripes or another similar adhesive so you can even hang it up if you want!

String balls
Supplies:
-string
-water balloons
-school glue

1. Blow up your balloons until they're the size you want
2. coat the string in glue and wrap it around the balloon
3. keep wrapping string around until you like the look
*Its easier to pop and turns out better when you wrap more string*
4. wait for it to completely dry then pop the balloon and take it out of the string ball
5. thread more string through the balls to make a strand or garland of the string balls and hang them up wherever you like!

In the video I did it wrong and painted the glue on the string and balloon but this caused a mess and didn't turn out at all so make sure you follow the steps above instead!!

And those are all 3 of the summer DIYs I tried out for my room! If you had trouble following these directions you can watch the video I did on my channel with more visuals of how to make everything. I have my YouTube channel linked so you can check it out for more from me & I would love it if you subscribed! Happy summer!
