I love old doilies and cameos. So I made these wall hangings to reflect the past. Try it. It takes only 30 minutes from beginning to end.

I found a couple of lovely gold frames at an antique store. Then I began searching for doilies and found some great ones.

I gathered my items and began by making an insert for the frame. I covered this in a large doily. I stapled it into the frame.

Then I gathered items I liked to put on the frame. This is a quick project.

I found these at Michael's craft store. I found the key at an antique store.

I used hot glue to attach all the items including cameos, an antique key, paper and lace flowers, and a very fine lace glove.

I made two so far. I plan to make more soon.

If you like this type of decor you will find it very easy to do. Make sure you remove any strings of glue that always result from hot glue.
