Is it possible to have an indoor water garden? If so, what plants would work and how do you care for it?

It’s a beautiful project! My only concern is, you always hear that you should not Jane any standing water anywhere outdoors because it creates a great place for mosquitos. What do you think? Thank you

I’ve seen responses about mosquito repellant tabs. Would these be found at a garden center? And if birds should stop by for a quick drink, would those tabs be harmful to them?

It's true that they are specialty plants, Victoria. Several of our privately owned garden centers have a pond section where they have a display or two and some plants. Call around or ask on Nextdoor or Facebook Market Place - someone in your area might be able to help or share from their own pond!
