What is this bush?

Trying to figure out what kind of bush this is to properly take care of it. Was already here when we moved in. Any ideas?
Looks like a boxwood.
It looks like a boxwood; you could run it through Plantix and that will tell you for sure.

No care necessary. You can trim to any shape and many boxwoods are but into a ball.
Boxwood gets my vote. They are really sturdy. I’ve trimmed my all through the year with no issues. Unless there is a drought.

Looks like boxwood to me. Try using the app plantsnap and see if it can ID it for sure.
Looks like a boxwood. You could ask at the local nursery also, if you're not sure. Just take them a cutting, they'll tell you how best to care for it, also.

If you have an iPhone, look at the picture and there should be a little i in a circle at the bottom. Click that and under the photo it will say "look up" and click that. If not, I find the free app iNaturalist to be very helpful.

This looks like a boxwood to me.
