Classic Desk Makeover

I found this heavy, dark desk on Craig's List, advertised for FREE. I couldn't talk myself out of taking on this project, because, look at those legs! I knew it had great potential.
After patching, sanding, priming, painting, and brand new hardware - this desk is absolutely gorgeous! That sounds like a lot of work, but it was worth it.
I hated to see it leave my garage, but the new owner was as in love with the desk as I was.
I used Zinsser primer and Glidden Antique White in Satin, with two coats of wax for a protective coat.
Before & after...it's like a different desk.
