DIY: Vanity Desk Makeover

4 Materials
$40
1 Hour
Easy
My Office space is very, very very (did I mention very?) boring. My makeup desk is stained with makeup, my ottoman doesn't match and it's just... boring.

So with $40 worth of products and less than a hour, I was able to transform my boring vanity space into something more cohesive and girly.

This is the before of my desk, ottoman and plastic drawer.
This is where I do my makeup and recording makeup tutorials (youtube: Breonnaqueen)
This is the after of my space. It looks a lot better huh? This is a closeup of my desk. It has old makeup stains that won't come off. So first thing first, wipe the desk as clean as you possibly can!
I'm using two rolls of Cricut Glitter Vinyl to cover my desk.
It's adhesive so all you have to do is measure the table...
Cut the adhesive to the measurements
....and stick!
Next up is the ottoman! I found this beauty by the dumpster! Its in great condition with just a few scratches to the chair
Using my nail gun, I added .5 of cushioning to the chair
(I did this to add extra comfort)
Then I used my nailgun to add some faux fur on top
Voila!
It took me less than a hour to do the desk and chair, and I love the finished look compared to the before!
