1950’s Retro Fridge Makeover

I found this cute little fridge on a local swap site and just had to have it even if it didn’t work. Got there, offered half the price and she said yes! And... it works!! Paid a whopping $40. Score!

This gave me a chuckle! 1975 - first husband - first shared apartment - very broke! Dug a frig as old as yours out of a friends barn - covered with chicken s___. My artistic husband painted it to look like a Campbell's Soup Can!

I'm back, I believe my Daddy's was a Montgomery Wards. If my memory serves me correct. :)) He ended up keeping it in the basement for cokes and beer. The freezer was a little box in the corner at the top. I believe it may of held 4 metal ice trays. , with a pull back release for the ice. Memories!
