Old Gun Cabinet Transformed

We found this old gun cabinet at a thrift store, it was all the way in the back and marked down. There was no key and nothing held it closed and the glass was completely gone and someone just put a piece of paneling in the door.
Before
Once you open the door they already had shelves inside of it, which worked out great cause it would be a perfect little cabinet or small pantry for someone.
So we took it all out and painted all of the inside in a medium gray color, and painted the shelves in White, and we used a custom mixed milk paint color of iron stone and typewriter and a very watered down Annie Sloan Chalk Paint on the outside. After that we used the sander to get a heavily distressed look.
For the key hole we took a knob we found at Hobby Lobby and added a latch to the inside so it shut.
And for the paneling we took it out and decided on chicken wire to give it a country feel. What do y'all think about the transformation?

I added shelves like the one shown and stained it a dark walnut and bought a $5 mirror that I cut to fit where the glass was and it turned out beautiful.
