I have this love of old tv's and radios. I was born in the 50's but the ones I like were from the 40's. For my retirement. I told my husband I wanted a old tv.
I advertised for one and only got 1 call. It was his Aunts. They said it had to go to someone special and taken care of it. The Aunt cherished and put in there charge when she passed away.
I usually only turn it on at Christmas. I tell my Grandchildren they have to watch a show before opening gifts. I bought mostly all Christmas Dvd's. A few Frankenstein movies for Halloween.
So I tore out the old tube and found a old box 14" tv that would fit in there.
Slid in the old TV
On the other side of cabinet was a radio record player with tubes. I looked all over for a repairman that worked on these old appliances but found none. So I left the radio in and tore out the record player. I found another record player to fit in the same spot.
Underneath is a DVD player hooked up to the tv.
When you open the door the record player pulls out.
So here is my little box of magic memories.
