I am about to reveal a major eyesore in my life: my “office”! Granted, many of my hours are spent “on the go” in a major way…in fact, just today a friend caught Sam and I scarfing down a couple of salads in the car in the middle of a day chalk full of meetings, errands, cooking, and even an event! Geesh. With things moving so fast with Zest and (sometimes) even faster with my three kiddos, I tend to veer heavily into the direction of disorderly chaos! Yes, I may not spend a ton of time locked into a desk situation, but I need to have some order for crying out loud! Right?
As you can tell from the above picture, I have nested a little desk space in the corner of my bedroom (ummmm, sometimes that is the only quiet room in the house……after all, I cannot set up an office in the bathroom for privacy, that just would not be acceptable, no matter HOW many moms use the bathroom for a good hideout!)
You may have recognized the desk on Zest It Up's blog from my little DIY project with my $20 find at Goodwill. Lucky for me, another trip to Goodwill and it’s heavenly sister, Goodwill Outlet, turned up a few other treasures that would lead me on my path towards organization.

Krylon’s high shine metallic spray paints are awesome, and their coverage is so quick. I love how it unified all of my random finds and gave them a touch of glam.
Another quickie project that might give you a giggle…I literally dug through the fireplace to find material for my pencil holder that I was envisioning.
I think that I am now breathing out a sigh almost every time I sit down in my little corner office.
