I found this column at a yard sale. It didn't fit with our decor on the inside. But hmmm, outside maybe....
The area I placed it was next to our home. The area is mulched,, so to make it sturdy, used a12xx12 flat stone after level underneath the stone for stability. The color was a little white. So I aged it with a little dry brushing in brown.
A close up with a more aged look.
picture seen from the road.I just love this! Flowers will get changed out with the season !

Frequently asked questions
Have a question about this project?
I have two columns that were purchased for an outdoor wedding but I didn't think they were waterproofed so I have had them on the covered front porch all winter. How would you make sure they were waterproofed? I would love to put out in my garden.
