I made this mini lamp post out of old desk legs
1st i cut my legs down 1 at 24 inc the 2nd at 18inc and the 3rd at12 inch
Then I cut my base out at 25x12 (25 inches wide 12 inches long
Then I sanded them down with 80 grit sandpaper and 120 for the finish
Then I drilled a 5/8 hole in the top of each leg to hold the solar lights snug
Then I primerd each 1 for better weather protection
I screwed a screw in the 5/8 holes for easy movement while I painted them so I didn't ruin the paint job or get paint all over me just hold on to the screw while painting ( I came up with this great hack)
Then I painted them a navy blue ( is what the customer ordered) and as you can see the white primer made it lighter
Theo pitchers are out of order but this is how I glued them together just lay them on top of each other glue each leg and the weigh from the legs will stick nice and firm i only use gorilla glue
then I added the Nautical Rope ,sign and solar lights
Here you have a mini lamp post
