Sheer up Your Patio
For privacy or for beauty, sheer curtains are my dream to have on my patio. I have a wood pergola, descent size of 14 by 16 feet and I wanted to absolutely have the Caribbean look. Every time I fixed a window rod I kept the old ones and collected them for any future project. Today I am using all my curtain rods left over to create a tropical style patio plus it was great to create some privacy while using my backyard patio. I used several types of curtain rods but believe me when I hung the curtains you can't even tell that the rods are different from each other. Fortunately, the curtains hide everything.
This is the patio I have.
This is one of my wood rods. I kept all the pieces like the hooks to hang on the pergola.
I nailed a nail to put on my hooks.
i simply insert the sheer curtains and rest the rod on the hook. Repeat.
This is how I connected them, by removing the ends of the curtains and laying them down one next to the other.
The curtains were hung perfectly, rain or wind they are always in place for all four seasons.
My sheer curtains give me the look I wanted, some privacy, and keep the mosquitoes 🦟away too🙌🙌

I love it! This is what I want to do to my carport, which is my patio. Its perfect for me as I have Lupus and it keeps me in the shade! These would give me some privacy and still let me have light in there.

I am in the process of putting sheer curtains on our back deck. So far they look nice will have to buy more. Love the way yours turned out.
